Care Guide
HOW TO LOOK AFTER MERINO
Believe it or not wool is actually really easy to wash.
Just follow the guidelines and your 'miniminos' will be back in their favourite sleep gear before you know it.
HAND WASH OR MACHINE WASH ON A LOW TEMPERATURE WOOL SETTING
Pop in the washing machine as regularly as you like, using the wool setting so your garments are washed gently to keep the wool strong and performing at its best.
For hand washing, just wash in clean, lukewarm water (approx. 30°C) Allow to soak for 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly firstly in lukewarm water, then in cold water.
USE WOOL DETERGENT
Regular detergent will damage your garments over time (think holes and bleaching) so ONLY use liquid wool detergent for longer lasting gear
DRY FLAT
Merino wool naturally repels water and will dry super quickly in a natural environment. Where possible we recommend that garments are flat dried or gently hung but if you’re in a real hurry a gentle tumble on a low heat for 5 mins will do the trick.
Don’t soak, bleach or wring. Just run a cool iron over me and I’m good to go.
INTERESTING SNIPPET
We don’t use any nasty chemicals in our manufacturing process so you can pop your miniminos straight in to their sleepwear – no need to wash beforehand but you are, of course, welcome to.
